Team ProjectEveryPage Mobile App Design

EveryPage Mobile App Design

Overview

Everypage Mobile App was a collaborative, cross-functional project completed over 12 weeks. Our team consisted of four designers and four developers working closely together through every stage of the design process. From initial brainstorming sessions to usability testing, we developed detailed user flows, created wireframes, and built interactive prototypes. This end-to-end project emphasized iterative design, user-centered thinking, and strong teamwork between designers and developers.

My role

I was actively involved across multiple stages of the project, including conducting user interviews, analyzing user flows, and creating detailed personas. I designed both low- and high-fidelity wireframes and participated in usability testing. I also contributed to the branding and helped refine the project proposal.

About EveryPage

EveryPage is a mobile app designed for book lovers who want to keep track of their home collections and connect with people nearby to exchange books.

Problems

  • People with large collections often struggle to keep track of what they own.
  • Forgetting which books are already in their library can lead to accidental duplicate purchases.
  • Storing books in different locations around the house makes it hard to find them when needed.
  • Books can be expensive, making it difficult for some people to afford new ones regularly.
  • Borrowing from libraries or friends helps, but limited copies and long wait times can be frustrating.

Solutions

  • Provides an easy-to-use book inventory system
  • Allows users to create a virtual library with custom information to help them remember their books
  • Lets users share their book collection with others nearby
  • Helps build a community where people can borrow and exchange books

Branding

The EveryPage logogram combines a book and a speech bubble, symbolizing the app’s core purpose of helping users track and share books while connecting with others. The design is simple and minimalist, reflecting the idea of keeping everything clean and organized. A rounded sans serif font was chosen to convey a sense of friendliness and approachability.
